A few minutes from Lunel-Viel, Les Petits Fermiers in Lansargues is an educational farm and outdoor leisure park, particularly suited to families with young children. With farm animals, gardens, games and relaxation areas, it is an excellent idea for a half-day or full day in the fresh air.
Meet the animals
The route takes you close to many animals: pigs, sheep, donkeys, geese, ducks, hens, goats, llamas, ponies and miniature cows. Children are given a small pot of feed so they can feed some of the animals, while Goat Island lets them get close and stroke them. Educational signs along the way explain the habits and diet of each species.
Outdoor games and activities
After walking around the farm, children can enjoy the many outdoor activities: zip lines, inflatables, play areas and, in fine weather, water games and a paddling pool. Pony rides are also available at extra cost on Wednesdays, at weekends and during school holidays.
A snack bar is available on site for lunch or an afternoon snack, and visitors can also bring their own picnic. In July and August, evening events are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with late opening and food by reservation.
