On the shores of the Thau lagoon in Loupian, Atelier & Co offers a gourmet break in a real shellfish farm workshop. Set in the heart of the shellfish farming area, it lets you discover oysters, mussels and shellfish right where they are produced, with a lovely view over the Thau basin.
A tasting right by the water
On the lagoonside terrace, the produce is served simply, in the spirit of traditional coastal tastings. Fresh oysters, mussels, shellfish and hot or cold dishes showcase local production and the skill of the shellfish farmers.
It is an ideal stop for a relaxed lunch as a couple, with family or friends, after a walk in Mèze, Bouzigues, Loupian or along the shores of the Thau lagoon. It also offers guided or self-guided tours, subject to availability, to learn more about shellfish farming.
Practical information and prices
Atelier & Co is in the western shellfish farming area of Loupian harbour. It has free private parking, accepts bank cards and is accessible to people with reduced mobility.
It is generally open from mid-February to the end of December, but opening days and hours may vary with the weather and the season. It is therefore best to check the times or book before you go, especially during the holidays and in summer.
Prices depend on what you choose from the menu (oysters, mussels, shellfish and side dishes) rather than an entry fee: the tasting takes place on site, facing the lagoon.
